The 270+ members are encouraged to learn and play football in a respectful environment supported by qualified coaches using modern equipment and facilities. We are one of a very small number of clubs that guarantees season long playing by our use of all weather 3G training facilities.
We are an FA Charter Standard Development Club that has been recognised by the Football Association as consistently delivering football opprtunities in line with the FA's exacting standards. To find out what the Charter Standard status means to players, coaches and supporters go to: http://www.thefa.com/get-involved/player/the-fa-charter-standard
The club provides football coaching from Under 5 to Under 18 age groups and has teams in the Crowborough and District, Maidstone League, and Kent Girls and Ladies Football League – our first all girls Team. At the younger age groups teams participate in small sided 'Mini-Soccer' fixtures gradually working their way through from 5 v 5, to 7v7, then 9v9 until eventually playing 11v11 from Under 13 upwards.
The club also holds its own tournament each May, kindly hosted by the Schools at Somerhill at Tonbridge.
A pavilion on the Pembury Recreation Ground was opened in 2008 and provides a fabulous and much admired ‘home’ for the club. This building was made possible through extensive support from the Football Foundation and our FA Charter Standard status.
Pembury Athletic (Youth) FC aims to provide high quality football coaching and match play to youngsters from the local community aged 4 – 18 years (boys and girls) according to the standards laid down by the Football Association.
The club plays on the Pembury Recreation Ground with older age groups playing their home matches at the Woodside Playing Fields in Pembury. We offer season-long midweek floodlit training on 3G surfaces for our Under 11 and upwards age groups. Additionally, we also offer 3G training to all mini-soccer age groups at weekends so we are able to offer football every week to our members whatever grass pitch ground conditions may be like.
We are always pleased to hear from prospective new members. If you would like to join us as a player, coach, administrator please contact any member of the committee or the relevant age group coach - please see our Contact Us page.
